Reviews
Trinity Health Urgent Care medical and office staff were polite and professional. Doctors on duty were very busy, but knowledgeable and quite capable with well equipped Domino Farm facility. Obviously without full capability of an hospital emergency room, but in my case were able to x-ray my damaged finger, numb it, cut it open to examine for embedded debris, and close it back up. Wrote pharmacy prescription to keep it safe. Much quicker than an e-room visit and just as effective.
Pros: The doctor and majority of the support staff. Thank you!
Cons: Jessica. She was very disrespectful to the patient who is her senior, repeatedly referring to the patient as "hun" (unacceptable). Secondly, Jessica was abrasive verbally and through her actions; she took the blood pressure reading incorrectly which was verified by her superior. Jessica's overall behavior was highly inappropriate.
An influenza and Covid test were never performed, even though the portal (MyChart) claimed those two tests were done.
Highly convenient; booking appointments in emergencies is effortless.
I had such a good experience with Trinity Health IHA, I am really grateful I chose them. I came in with pretty extreme pain and they made sure I was seen right away. Everyone was very kind and helpful, I received great care from reception to doctor to labs to pain relief. I would recommend them to anyone and will always choose this location in the future.
1.) Stagger your staff breaks so you don’t close the lab. People should be able to come from their appointments and get in line for lab work. Instead, you have a whole mass of frustrated people just waiting for you to open up again. Not only is this poor service, but it increases exposure risk.
2.) Staff should be wearing masks. Only the doctor and one receptionist (who was coughing—lovely) were wearing them. It’s November. Infections are rising. Do better.
3.) 15min phone wait times to learn if you can make appointment at your primary care office is ridiculous. (And that’s just how long I could stand to wait before I went to the app. It could have been longer.) Again, if things are that busy, if people are that ill, wear masks and stagger staff breaks to accommodate.
I understand that people need to eat lunch. Without eating lunch our society as a whole may die. If you’re close from 1230 to 130 the rest of us should still be able to survive. When I show up at 12:25 I would expect to be seen. Instead read a sign saying we’re close from 12:30 to 1:30. Trying to squeeze in an extra five minutes for lunch? It’s OK if not everybody goes to lunch at the same time. How about half the people go to lunch at 11:30 and the other half go at 12:30. That way you don’t have to be closed for 15% of the day right in the middle of the day. Just a suggestion. But what do I know, I’m not in healthcare administration.
Personally, I have always had a great experience using the Trinity health IHA Urgent Care (I have probably been 3 times). Providers are caring and helpful. My biggest issue surrounds my partner who went there for care. Although he went in for treatment of a cyst, they took his blood pressure and didn't care to mention that he should be concerned and seek additional help in lowering his surprisingly-high-for-his-age blood pressure. They told him that his blood pressure was fine.
I went to urgent care after having persistent symptoms of a viral infection that weren't improving. I saw Dr. Farhan and she was so kind to me. She was able to help me manage the inflammation from my symptoms really well, and I'm grateful for that. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and compassionate.
